23.03.20 – Medication requests & online access

Please consider registering for online access to request repeat prescriptions, online access allows you to request your medication without leaving your home and limits your exposure in the coming months. To do this please verify your I.D at the main access point at the surgery, we need photo identity such as drivers licence or passport, you do not need to enter the building to do this. We will require your email address for online access, we will then send you security questions before authorising passwords.

Please note with immediate affect we have reviewed our processes for prescriptions and therefore outlined the following:

• Repeat medication is processed when it is due and not before, – for the standard quantity only.

• Request repeat medication via the preferred method which is online access or via this email: [email protected]. Otherwise you can post this through the front door letterbox.

• Due to demand we are unable to inform each of you when your prescription is ready, please allow 3-5 days for us to process this.

• Acute medication or medication not previously requested can take up to 5 working days or longer.

• Prescriptions will continue to be issued as normal, phone requests are not available.
