Hearing Aids available

Hearing aid batteries are now available to collect from the surgery, please see following conditions:

Batteries are only issued when the hearing aid battery book is present. This must also be signed and dated.

Patients should not be collecting batteries more than every 6-8wks.

Batteries are issued as 1 pack per hearing aid. E.g. if they have 2 hearing aids, they are entitled to 2 packs of batteries.

Extra batteries are not to be supplied to patients going on holiday.

Only hearing aids issued by NHS hospital are to be supplied with batteries. This does not include NHS hearing aids supplied by SpecSavers, Boots, Scrivens etc.

Any used batteries should be safely recycled.

If any patients that use NHS hearing aids supplied by Wycombe or Amersham hospital are concerned about their hearing aids function, they can call Wycombe Audiology for an appointment on 01494 425601. Wycombe Audiology are currently not accepting walk-ins due to the social distancing restrictions in place at the moment.
